Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox is a Scottish native singer. Her birth date was 25, December, 1954 in Aberdeen. Dorothy Farquharson is her mother as is Thomas Allison Lennox, father. Lennox was a student for three years in the Royal Academy of Music London in the 1970s was accepted. She lived off of the student allowance, and relied off on a part-time job to supplement her funds. Lennox, while studying in the Royal Academy of Music in London, was dissatisfied with her performance as compared to the performance of the other students. She started to think about alternatives. Lennox began her career in the year 1976, in the band Dragons Playground. However she left when the band was featured to I.T.V.s talent contest New Faces. Her main role was as the lead singer in The Tourists from 1977 until 1980. They met Dave Stewart, with whom formed the pop-duo Eurythmics. Lennox started working on her first solo album Diva and it was released around 1992. It was an enormous success as well as selling and critically acclaimed. Nostalgia Lennoxs Six solo album was released in the month of October 2014. included Nostalgia Lennox. The C.D. is a selection of Lennoxs favourite blues and soul jazz tunes from her upbringing. Lepidoptera features four keyboard tracks. The E.P. First album of hers"Now I Letting You Go... is an accompaniment to her installation of art at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. Annie Lennox (born December 25, 1954) is a Scottish politician and singer. After minor successes as a part of the new wave band The Tourists in the late 1970s, Lennox and co-musician Dave Stewart went on to be recognized as the duo known as Eurythmics during the 80s. Lennox began her solo musical career in 1992 with an album titled Diva. The album featured a variety of famous songs like walking on Broken Glass and What's the Matter with You. Medusa the album she released in 1995 has cover versions of songs like No MoreI I Love Yous and A Whiter Shade of Pale.
