Anita Barone
A stage actress that is versatile and was mostly confined to shows on TV, Anita Barone received her biggest break in the medium when she played husband to Jeff Foxworthy on "The Jeff Foxworthy Show," which had a single season on ABC between 1995 and 1996. Barone made her first acting appearance in a stage production at the age of 5 in Detroit in the city where she raised following the move of her family out of St Louis. Barone was a part of more than 50 productions by the time of 23 mostly for university productions and regional theatres. The stage credits she played included Juliet in Romeo and Juliet, Helen Keller in a re-imagining of "Monday After the Miracle", and the role in the role of Agnes who is a young and afflicted Nun in "Agnes of the Gods." Her screen debut was a part-time role in "The Rosary Murders" with a cameo appearance in "Ricochet" along with she played the lead role in the indie romantic comedy "Just Friends", in 1996. Barone had her first notable Hollywood job as a part of Carol & Company (NBC, 1990-1991) - - the failed effort by Carol Burnett in trying to bring back the comedy sketch show. Barone made an appearance on the USA Network movie "Wounded Heart" in 1995. She returned to weekly sitcoms with her co-star in "Daddio", NBC 2000 together alongside Michael Chiklis.
